Design Director

We are seeking an experienced Design Director to oversee the quality of all design deliverables within our organization.

  • Implement and maintain quality assurance processes for design projects.
  • Provide constructive feedback to designers and ensure designs align with client goals, brand guidelines, and industry best practices.
  • Maintain the integrity of the design output, ensuring consistency and effectiveness across digital and print platforms.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee design quality: Ensure that all design projects meet the highest quality standards and client specifications.
  • Collaborate with clients: Work closely with clients to understand their design requirements and objectives. Provide guidance on design strategies to ensure their brand vision is effectively captured.
  • Quality assurance: Review and approve design outputs to ensure they meet the required quality, consistency, and brand guidelines.
  • Team leadership: Lead and mentor a team of designers, providing constructive feedback and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Guide the team in refining design concepts and solving creative challenges.
  • Strategic oversight: Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop design strategies that align with client business objectives and enhance their brand presence.
  • Process improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve the design process, from concept to delivery, ensuring efficiency, innovation, and high-quality outputs.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience (8+ years) in design, with at least 4 years in a leadership role overseeing design projects.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a wide range of design work, including branding, digital, print, and UI/UX design.
  • Expertise in design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, InVision) and a solid understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with a strong ability to ensure consistency and accuracy across all design work.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to provide clear, actionable feedback and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
