Job Overview

This position involves leading and managing independent projects across various operational risk management areas, including internal control assessments, third-party risk management, incident management and reporting, loss data, and business continuity for financial institutions.

About the Role
  • Manage a wide range of projects related to operational risk management, ensuring alignment with regulatory expectations and business needs.
  • Develop and implement frameworks, policies, and procedures to identify and mitigate operational risks, as well as review and validate existing controls.
  • Contribute to firm-wide risk and control self-assessment exercises, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address them.
  • Demonstrate independence in planning and stakeholder engagement, testing design and execution, results interpretation, and presentation.
Requirements
  • 5-12 years of experience in Operational Risk Management, with expertise in areas such as internal control assessments, third-party risk management, incident management and reporting, loss data, and business continuity for financial institutions.
  • CA, MBA, or any other relevant master's program qualification.
  • Strong understanding of process risk and controls, along with associated compliance requirements.
  • Good understanding and awareness of local Regulatory requirements for FIs across banking, insurance, and NBFCs issued by respective Regulators.
