Lead Innovation and Deliver Sustainable Solutions

To drive business growth, we are seeking a talented Senior Scientist to lead innovation and develop cutting-edge packaging technologies. This exciting opportunity is for someone who can conduct hands-on research and development, applying scientific principles to product development and experimental projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-depth research to advance product concepts from idea to commercialization.
  • Apply scientific expertise to ensure timely completion of projects with priorities established and agreed upon with R&D leadership.
  • Communicate progress through internal presentations to various groups, including R&D leadership team, Marketing, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain Groups.
  • Stay up-to-date with literature searches and apply gained knowledge to support active projects and existing Protective Packaging products.
  • Collaborate with sales and account representatives, package design personnel, and R&D and business leaders to identify key technology gaps and opportunities associated with business division innovation pipelines.
Requirements:
  • PhD in Organic Chemistry or Chemical Engineering or related field.
  • At least 5 years of Research & Development experience in formulation development.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to author technical reports and make presentations to various internal groups.
  • Able to work globally with sensitivity to cultures, businesses, etc.
  • Business acumen and ability to collaborate effectively across functions, regions, and business divisions to drive results and ensure goal delivery.
