Data Visualization Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Visualization Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in data modeling, dashboard development, and business requirements gathering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and format large datasets to craft compelling stories through interactive visualizations.
  • Solve complex data visualization challenges across various formats, including infographics, charts, diagrams, and maps.
  • Participate in project meetings and discussions to identify suitable data visualization and information needs that meet project requirements.
  • Collaborate with the communications team to ensure consistency with overall branding requirements and design guidelines.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in HCI-related design fields (UI, UX, Product Design, Graphic Design or similar).
  • At least 3 years of experience in UI/UX/Product Design functions with at least 1 year of delivering in the field of data visualization/information design/business intelligence.
  • Thorough knowledge of data visualization platforms like Tableau and Power BI, along with practical experience delivering implemented designs in these tools.
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Cloud software and thorough understanding of Microsoft Excel.
