Job Title: Security Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Security Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in performing comprehensive security assessments across various platforms.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying security issues, misconfigurations, and vulnerabilities, and providing detailed risk analysis and actionable recommendations. They will also be expected to prepare high-quality security reports, including technical findings and risk-based remediation guidance.

The Security Specialist will work closely with development, IT, and security teams to validate and mitigate identified vulnerabilities. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential requirements for this role.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in security assessments (Application, Network, Cloud, Mobile, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of secure coding practices, OWASP Top 10, SANS Top 25, and MITRE ATT&CK framework.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell is a plus.
  • Experience with SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) preferred.
  • Relevant certifications such as CEH, OSCP, eJPT, eCPPT, or similar are desirable.
