Cloud Database Architect

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Database Architect to oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of large-scale cloud-based database environments.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive strategies for managing and automating cloud-based database infrastructures, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of database services across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
  • Design and implement data storage solutions using AWS, including high availability clusters, data replication, and backup strategies.
  • Conduct regular assessments and provide recommendations for optimizing database performance, security, and compliance.
  • Lead the development and deployment of automation scripts and tools to streamline database management tasks.
Requirements:
  • Proven expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale cloud-based database environments.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms, particularly AWS, and ability to leverage their features and services.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash, and experience with automation tools like Ansible or Terraform.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
