Job Description

To contribute to the achievement of cement mill production targets, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer.

This role requires the individual to be responsible for supervising and coordinating all mechanical activities in Cement Mill Line No.1, ensuring maximum plant availability and efficiency.

  • Scheduling weekly major shutdowns and regular maintenance activities
  • Supervising maintenance activities and analyzing breakdowns
  • Taking corrective and preventive actions to optimize maintenance costs
  • Organizing manpower and material requirements
  • Preparing and following up on material indents
  • Coordinating condition monitoring activities for critical equipment
  • Collaborating with other departments for job coordination
  • Updating daily and weekly checklists
Key Responsibilities
  • Control cost of all maintenance activities in Cement Mill Line-1 as per budget
  • Prepare budget based on past data and future targets
  • Check consumption patterns equipment-wise with respect to budget
  • Take corrective actions to reduce costs
  • Carry out Why-Why analysis
  • Arrange manpower requirement in coordination with other sections to control overtime and contractor costs
  • Monitor indents and inventory
  • Improve handling systems for materials
  • Propose changes or modifications for leakages
