Communications Internship

This is an opportunity to work with a dynamic team as a Communications Intern. You will be responsible for engaging directly with beneficiaries, documenting their stories and experiences, and turning them into compelling narratives across various formats.

The role involves conducting interviews and conversations with beneficiaries and stakeholders to capture authentic stories. It also requires documenting these stories in clear, concise, and engaging formats such as articles, short write-ups, social media captions, case studies, etc. Additionally, you will support the creation of internal and external communication materials and assist in building and maintaining an archive of stories, photographs, and other content assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct interviews and conversations with beneficiaries and stakeholders.
  • Document stories and events in clear, concise, and engaging formats.
  • Support the creation of internal and external communication materials.
  • Assist in building and maintaining an archive of stories, photographs, and other content assets.
  • Collaborate with the communications team to generate fresh ideas for content.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree (ongoing or completed) in Communications, Journalism, English, Liberal Arts, Media Studies, Public Relations, or related fields.
  • Candidates from Design, Fine Arts, or related disciplines with strong writing skills are also encouraged to apply.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong interviewing and documentation abilities.
  • Ability to write across formats.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with design tools is a significant plus.
  • Creativity, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn.
