IDM Engineer Role

Description:

We are seeking an experienced IDM engineer to take on the challenge of designing and implementing Identity solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Identity & Access Management and experience with SailPoint.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain IdentityIQ or IdentityNow solutions for provisioning, lifecycle automation, access certifications, and self-service capabilities.
  • Develop and automate end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Git, Maven, and Ant to deploy Identity configurations, connectors, workflows, and rules across development, testing, and production environments.
  • Build custom connectors/integrations to enterprise systems, APIs, and identity protocols.
  • Author secure, maintainable code using Java, BeanShell, JavaScript, or Shell scripting for rule, workflow, and report logic.
  • Monitor and support Identity environments with incident response, performance tuning, and proactive alerting.
  • Collaborate across teams to gather requirements, deliver secure IAM capabilities, and ensure governance/compliance alignment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of experience in Identity & Access Management with hands-on practice building and operating SailPoint solutions.
  • Proven experience in CI/CD and DevOps practices with automated pipelines supporting code migration and deployments.
  • Technical fluency in scripting and development (Java, BeanShell, JavaScript, Shell) and integration with directory services, cloud platforms, and APIs.
  • Solid working knowledge of IAM lifecycle processes—Joiner/Mover/Leaver, RBAC modeling, access certifications—and regulatory compliance considerations.
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and adaptability skills.
