Farmer Market Developer Position

We are seeking a skilled professional to spearhead our efforts in connecting farmers with new markets and promoting sustainable agricultural practices. As a Farmer Market Developer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of natural and organic produce in Tamil Nadu.


Key Responsibilities
  • Market Analysis and Research
    • Conduct comprehensive research to understand demand for natural and organic produce across Tamil Nadu.
    • Track local and national market shifts, identify growth areas, and study competitive pricing, distribution models, and promotional strategies.
  • Consumer Engagement
    • Create detailed consumer profiles, mapping motivations and barriers to purchase.
    • Develop impactful campaigns across digital platforms, social media, and community outreach to educate and engage consumers on the benefits of organic living.
  • Farmer Relations and Support
    • Work closely with farmers to understand capacities and challenges, providing them with insights on evolving consumer preferences.
    • Organize workshops on quality standards, branding, and best practices to help farmers thrive in competitive markets.
  • Market Development and Expansion
    • B Foster strong ties with retail outlets, wholesalers, specialty stores, and online platforms.
    • Develop strategies to optimize reach, profitability, and logistics efficiency.
    • Design entry strategies for new markets within Tamil Nadu and nationally, while fostering partnerships with local businesses, communities, and government agencies.
  • Monitoring and Reporting
    • Define KPIs, monitor sales, consumer feedback, and market penetration.
    • Deliver clear, insightful reports on developments and outcomes, recommending adaptations for continuous growth.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration
    • Strengthen relationships with agricultural associations, government bodies, and NGOs.
    • Represent the organization in forums and networking events.
    • Champion policies and initiatives that support organic farmers and sustainable practices.
