Job Title:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Project Planning:
    • Develop and implement project schedules, resource allocation plans, and quality control processes to ensure timely delivery of construction projects.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential risks, ensuring that project objectives are met within approved budgets and scopes of work.
    • Establish and maintain effective communication channels with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead and manage site teams, providing guidance, training, and development opportunities to enhance their skills and productivity.
    • Mentor junior team members, promoting a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
    • Foster a positive and inclusive team environment, encouraging open communication, collaboration, and mutual respect among team members.
  • Operational Excellence:
    • Implement and monitor quality control processes, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
    • Conduct regular site inspections, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions to maintain high-quality standards.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and suppliers, to ensure seamless project execution and resolution of any issues that may arise.
  • Skill Enhancement:
    • Identify training needs and develop customized training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of site personnel.
    • Provide on-the-job training and coaching, ensuring that team members have the necessary skills and competencies to perform their roles effectively.

Requirements:

  • Education:
    • Relevant degree in a field such as construction management, civil engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior site leadership role, preferably in a large-scale construction project environment.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
    • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
