Senior ETL Developer

We are seeking an experienced senior ETL developer to support our data transformation and integration projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand requirements from high-level design (HLD) and low-level design (LLD) documents
  • Prepare DEV/UAT environment in Teradata/Unix/Hadoop
  • Estimate space and allocate space to Teradata DB's in SIT/UAT
  • Forklift seed data from production to test environment using Teradata utilities
  • Create forklift job in mainframe to forklift production data to mainframe files using Fast-Export Utility and NDM (copy) the data file to lower lane in Mainframe
  • Set up ETL jobs in regression effort and flow execution in Autosys and Mainframe
  • Analyze and assign tasks to team members on a daily basis, participate in DSU calls and defect review meetings
  • Prepare test cases with help of Test Plan and review with Dev team
  • Create effective SQL scripts to validate Change Data Capture logic in Teradata
  • Automation script module creation in TOSCA to execute regression scripts Execute test scripts and upload results to Qtest/QC

  • Overall testing experience
  • Microsoft Azure Cloud platform
  • Structured and unstructured file formats (Avro, Parquet)
  • Python
  • Intermediate to advanced SQL knowledge
  • Azure Synapse Workspace (Pipelines, Spark Notebooks, Pysparks)
  • Functional/Regression testing experience
  • Test automation experience
  • Git
  • ETL knowledge, Kafka, Banking experience
  • Analytical skills, Visual Studio/C#/Java
  • Data governance concepts, data architectures, data warehousing, datalake
