Senior Leadership Position: Concept Design - Interior Design

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in leading and overseeing the design team, spearheading the planning and execution of interior design projects.

This esteemed position involves conceptualizing innovative design ideas, collaborating with clients to understand their needs, managing budgets and timelines, and ensuring projects meet both aesthetic and functional standards.

As a seasoned leader, you will guide and mentor junior designers, manage vendor relationships, and stay updated on industry trends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Team Management:
    • Lead and mentor a team of interior designers, fostering a collaborative and creative environment.
    • Provide guidance and feedback to ensure the team's success.
  • Client Collaboration:
    • Understand project needs, develop design proposals, and present design concepts to clients.
  • Project Management:
    • Oversee all stages of the design process, from initial concept to final implementation.
    • Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring timely delivery of design milestones.
  • Design Development:
    • Conceptualize design ideas, create detailed design plans, select materials and furnishings.
    • Ensure design solutions are practical, aesthetically pleasing, and within budget.
  • Coordination and Collaboration:
    • Work closely with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of design with other project aspects.
  • Design Expertise:
    • Strong understanding of design principles, space planning, color theory, and materials selection.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Architecture, Urban Design, or related field.
  • 20+ years of experience in architecture or design, with at least 8 years in a senior leadership role.
