Senior Test Engineering Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Engineering Lead to join our client-facing testing team. In this role, you will be a key contributor to leading performance and functional validation efforts for scalable enterprise applications.

To succeed in this position, you should have:

  • 6+ years of experience in QA, with a strong focus on performance, automation, and system validation.
  • A proven track record in leading complex test initiatives and working with cross-functional stakeholders.

As a Senior Test Engineering Lead, you will have the opportunity to work with architects and product owners to gather requirements and define comprehensive test plans. You will also identify and address system bottlenecks and performance issues, and develop new frameworks, tools, and strategies to improve automation and performance testing efficiency.

Requirements include:

  • Strong hands-on experience with SQL and proficiency in Java or Python (must be able to code).
  • Deep understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and database performance.
  • Experience with performance testing tools and frameworks.
  • Expertise in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins), version control (Git), and scripting (PowerShell or Shell).
  • Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB and backend data validation.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and their scalability/capacity management.
  • Excellent analytical skills and a strong problem-solving mindset.
Responsibilities
  • Lead performance and functional validation efforts for scalable enterprise applications.

  • Mentor and guide junior team members on automation, test planning, and execution.
  • Collaborate with architects and product owners to gather requirements and define comprehensive test plans.
