**Job Description:**
As a Senior Solar Projects Design Manager, you will be responsible for designing and sizing various components of solar panel capacity, inverters, transformers, high-tension panels, cables, transmission lines, and switchgear systems. Your expertise in electrical engineering with a focus on renewable energy will help us develop efficient and effective solutions for our clients. You will work closely with our team to identify and address technical challenges and ensure that all designs meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.
You will also have the opportunity to work on multiple projects simultaneously, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results on time. In addition to your technical skills, you will need excellent communication and leadership abilities to guide junior team members and stakeholders through complex design processes. We value innovative thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as experience with simulation tools like AutoCAD and PV system design software. Our ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be willing to travel occasionally (up to 50%) for project approvals and site visits.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Designing and sizing solar panel capacity, inverters, transformers, high-tension panels, HT & LT cables, 33KV, 11KV transmission lines, and allied switchgears.
- Developing indoor and outdoor lighting systems, cable tray layouts, earthing calculations, and layouts.
- Preparing RFQ and datasheets for brought-out items, such as PV panels, switchgears, and cables.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality designs within tight deadlines.
