We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Solar Engineer with strong project management skills to join our team at Enjobs. This is an exciting opportunity for an engineering professional who is passionate about solar energy and leadership.

About the Role

As a Senior Solar Engineer - Project Manager, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our solar portfolio, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the required quality standards. Your expertise in electrical engineering and system design will play a critical role in the success of our solar projects.

This is a senior-level position that requires a high level of technical knowledge, leadership skills, and experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and oversee the design of solar power systems, including photovoltaic arrays, inverters, and interconnection components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct feasibility studies to assess the viability of solar projects, considering factors such as solar irradiance, shading analysis, land profile, and energy production estimates.
  • Perform technical analysis, simulations, and modeling of solar energy systems using relevant software tools. Optimize system layouts, equipment selection, and energy output and LCOE optimizations.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, codes, and industry standards in the design process.
  • Optimize system designs for efficiency, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Manage multiple solar projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Develop and oversee the design of solar power systems, including photovoltaic arrays, inverters, and interconnection components.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 12+ years of overall experience in the solar energy industry.
  • At least 8 years of hands-on experience in multi-megawatt grid-connected solar power plant DC-AC design and engineering, energy estimation, LCOE optimization, and preparing BOQs and technical specifications.
  • Familiarity with relevant software tools for design, simulation, such as ETAP, CYMCAP, AutoCAD, and PV-SYST software.
  • In-depth knowledge of solar power technologies, electrical systems, and grid integration.
  • Proven experience in solar energy projects, with a focus on electrical engineering and system design.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing engineering teams.
  • Project management experience, including the ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
What We Offer
