Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as an Application Performance Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the performance of our application, ensuring its seamless operation and optimal functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage application performance, installations, upgrades, discovery, enhancements, scan customizations, and data reconciliation issues.
  • Deploy, troubleshoot, and automate UD agent deployment, maintain agent hygiene, and fix agent-related issues.
  • Oversee design processes, solution architectures, and define key metrics for upcoming projects.
  • Remove impediments for the team, shield them from interruptions, act as a coach to the team, Product Owner, and wider organization to help them continually improve, and facilitate the delivery of work and where appropriate.
  • Act as a point of escalation for the development & delivery teams. Work with the Agile Lead to ensure efficient flow of the backlog of change activities.
  • Ensure all activities performed within the team adhere to relevant data standards and data controls.
  • Optimize automation within the team at all times, reducing the need for human intervention in the design, development, and operational lifecycles, including decisions on tooling to achieve optimal performance.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of Asset inventory discovery tools such as UD & UCMDB.
  • Advanced proficiency with Unix/Linux and Windows, SQL, Python, API is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of ITIL or Configuration Management or ITSM.
  • Strong DevOps background.
  • Knowledge of Jira or Confluence.
  • Strong architectural and technical knowledge.
  • Ability to understand user requirements and desired business outcomes.
