Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Architect to design, develop, and implement scalable and secure cloud solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in shaping the overall architecture of our cloud solutions, ensuring they align with business goals, scalability requirements, and industry best practices.

  • Design and Development: Assist in designing and developing scalable, secure, and highly available AWS architectures
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into robust AWS solutions (DevOps, Development, Security)
  • Implementation: Assist in implementing AWS monitoring systems, security measures, and compliance with industry regulations and internal security policies
  • Optimization: Develop strategies for optimizing AWS costs without compromising performance or security
  • Troubleshooting: Responds to systems alerts, investigates and resolves related system failures, and recovers/restores failed systems and applications
  • Knowledge Sharing: Conduct regular knowledge-sharing sessions and training programs for team members
  • Mentorship: Mentor other team members in all facets listed above

Requirements:

  • 7-9 years of experience in Information Technology
  • Strong experience implementing access control using IAM
  • Experience with repository management (Git)
  • Experience implementing, maintaining, and monitoring AWS Workspaces
  • Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible Tower, AWS CloudFormation)
  • Strong AWS implementation and administration experience
  • Experience monitoring/maintaining secure networking practices within the AWS infrastructure
  • Experience monitoring/maintaining multi-region disaster recovery solutions using AWS services
  • Experience with CloudTrail and CloudWatch
  • Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and processes to achieve commitments
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills to all levels of the organization
  • Process and technical documentation skills
