Project Manager for Pharmaceutical Formulations

Job Overview:

The ideal candidate will oversee the end-to-end management of multiple projects in mechanical, HVAC, clean room, and black & clean utilities services within pharmaceutical formulation facilities. They will ensure timely completion and compliance with relevant standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Finalize engineering concepts for mechanical, HVAC, modular panel, utility, firefighting, and other applicable disciplines.
  • Review and approve MEP services drawings and documents supplied by consulting firms.
  • Ensure the installation and execution of MEP packages align with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Engineering Practices (GEP), ISPE, and other applicable standards.
  • Perform in-depth reviews to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
  • Oversee onsite and offsite MEP services to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
  • Prepare drawing and documents required for statutory approvals as applicable.
  • Conduct weekly project coordination meetings with consultants, contractors, and mediate conflicts.
  • Resolve technical hurdles during project executions with consultant help.
  • Coordinate efforts of all parties involved in the project.
  • Monitor construction activities progress and hold regular status meetings.
  • Maintain adherence to quality and safety standards.
  • Follow and document project change control management procedures.
Essential Requirements:
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 8-10 years of experience in Pharmaceutical, Chemical, or FMCG Industry.
  • Deep understanding of Project MEP services like mechanical/piping/HVAC/clean room/black & clean utility services.
  • Good knowledge of project management principles including project planning, cost management, time management, construction management, quality management, contract administration, and safety management.

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
