Job Title: Platform Infrastructure Manager

We are seeking a seasoned leader to oversee the management of our platform infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong organizational mindset and a solid understanding of IT Service Management frameworks.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of network and cloud administrators, developing scalable and repeatable processes, and ensuring consistent, high-quality service delivery across our portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of network and cloud administrators, fostering technical growth and career development.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across engineering and operations.
  • Define and communicate clear roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations aligned with organizational goals.
  • Drive operational excellence by maturing processes for efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
  • Follow structured ITSM workflows for change management, incident response, and service requests.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery and integration across platforms.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring service expectations are met and exceeded.
  • Monitor and improve client satisfaction through proactive engagement and service enhancement initiatives.
  • Evaluate and implement regular infrastructure patching to maintain security and compliance.
Requirements:
  • Availability for after-hours escalations.
  • Able to multi-task, pivot quickly, and understand the sense of urgency.
Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience in network and cloud infrastructure support, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Knowledge of managing infrastructure patching (network and servers).
  • Understanding of business and technology processes.
  • Proven track record of escalation management experience.
  • Strong understanding of ITSM frameworks (e.g., ITIL) and operational best practices.
  • Proven experience in process development and operational maturity.
  • Excellent Critical Thinking and Emotional Intelligence skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at different levels – direct-reports, peers, and executive leaders.
  • General experience of Cloud technologies (e.g., Azure, VMWare, AWS, Windows, Linux) and Network Technology (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Aruba ClearPass) is an asset.
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure monitoring systems (e.g., Logic Monitor & Solar Winds) is an asset.
  • University degree or College diploma program in Computer Science, Business and Technology, Information Systems, or related areas.
