
Leadership Manager

This is a challenging leadership role that oversees the strategy and operations of media planning, trading & optimization, and ad operations for managed services. The Director will lead cross-functional teams to deliver compelling advertising and media solutions to brands/companies while ensuring joyful guest experiences.
The successful candidate will have a strong ability to demonstrate strategic planning, business acumen, proactive decision making, and strong execution rigor. They will be able to work in a fast-paced, highly interactive environment interfacing between senior leadership and middle management and the team at large.
- Demonstrate expertise in retail / ecommerce media and applicability within the evolving retail media eco-system to provide thought leadership and best practices to the organization.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to understand brand and retailer growth objectives and translate these priorities into actionable retail media playbooks/ strategies that drive omni-channel demand and conversion
- Influence product management leadership on key priorities for operational excellence and media performance.
- Build talent strategies to attract, engage, retain and develop talent across the organization.
- Establish clear communication between teams, partners.
- Identify and lead projects individually and through leaders: defining scope, collecting requirements, providing analysis/development plans, and ensuring close collaboration during execution.
- Establish relationships with key decision-makers to drive strategic business initiatives.
- Ensure team members are highly motivated and performing to their full potential by:
- Providing insightful, motivating feedback to help them gain insights about themselves and the organization.
- Help the team integrate their goals and capabilities with emerging organizational needs.
- Identify and attract key individuals with critical capabilities needed by the organization.
- Sets clear goals and objectives with ongoing coaching, performance evaluation and feedback to build the best team.
- Engages and inspires team to achieve high standards of performance.
- Develops contextual knowledge through cross-pyramid collaboration.
- Supports organizational strategic priorities.
Key Competencies:
- Ability to work horizontally across Marketing & Digital and enterprise to ensure clear understanding of Targets strategic roadmap, M&D priorities and Roundel business goals
- Deep understanding of business strategy, implementation/operational best practices and resource planning

- Root cause analysis and problem solving.
- Bachelors degree or higher in Business, Management, Strategy and Operations or other related field
- 10-15 years experience in advertising/ digital media; desired is 8-12 years of experience in leading large teams
- Influential - able to engage and negotiate with business leaders and teams
- Continuous improvement mindset with structured problem solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to influence senior leadership
- Strong collaborator with highly effective relationship and partnership skills
- Demonstrated ability to be strategic and proactive, taking an integrated and data-driven approach
- Understanding of digital creative production & ad serving technology
- Self-starter, capable of setting goals and reporting progress against them.
