Cloud Engineering Role

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop scalable Python-based backend services with a focus on scalability and maintainability.
  • Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, ensuring seamless integration and high performance.
  • Implement and maintain logging, monitoring, and alerting systems using the ELK Stack, providing real-time insights into system performance.
  • Build RESTful APIs and integrate them with internal/external services, utilizing industry-standard protocols and best practices.
  • Utilize Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration, streamlining deployment and management processes.
  • Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI, ensuring consistent delivery and high-quality releases.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, Data Engineering, and QA, to drive business outcomes and improve overall efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years of professional experience with Python (Flask, Django, FastAPI, etc.), with a strong focus on application development and maintenance.
  • Proficiency in at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP), with experience in deploying and managing cloud-based applications.
  • Strong understanding of Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana (ELK Stack) for log aggregation and visualization, with experience in implementing and maintaining logging and monitoring systems.
  • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes, with experience in containerization and orchestration.
  • Good understanding of CI/CD principles and practices, with experience in establishing and maintaining continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
  • Experience in RESTful API development and microservices architecture, with a focus on scalability, maintainability, and high performance.
  • Proficiency in Git and collaborative development workflows, with experience in version control and team collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Developer Associate, Azure Developer), demonstrating expertise in cloud computing and related technologies.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation), with a focus on automation and efficiency.
  • Knowledge of message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ), with experience in designing and implementing distributed systems.
  • Exposure to security best practices in cloud environments, with a focus on data protection, access control, and compliance.
  • Experience with other observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana), with a focus on monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting.
