Job Description:

As a senior associate, you will be responsible for managing and updating portfolio details of various private equity funds. This includes analyzing PE Funds performance by reviewing fund cash flows and quarterly financial reports, as well as calculating fund valuation data, including investment costs, realized/unrealized values, gross/net multiples, and financial KPIs such as revenue, EBITDA, net debt, and valuation/leverage multiples.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Post-graduate degree or equivalent in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • 1-10 years of experience in relevant financial services, preferably with some research experience and experience with tools like Excel, Power BI, and Microsoft Access.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently, and emphasis on producing high-quality work products.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and demonstrate initiative in enhancing processes and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in unstructured environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and update portfolio details of various private equity funds.
  • Analyze PE Funds performance by reviewing fund cash flows and quarterly financial reports.
  • Calculate fund valuation data, including investment costs, realized/unrealized values, gross/net multiples, and financial KPIs such as revenue, EBITDA, net debt, and valuation/leverage multiples.
  • Track operational KPIs and updates on a quarterly basis.
  • Create or update fund track records and reconcile data using cash flow notices.
  • Calculate fund multiples and IRRs using cash flows and perform various fund analytics, including attribution and value creation analysis.
  • Reconcile portfolio-level operational data, including geographical presence, headquarters, and portfolio leverage.
  • Coordinate with different teams to gather information on time and communicate with clients about task status.
