Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios to thoroughly test software applications and features.

You will conduct functional, regression, performance, and usability testing to identify and report defects and ensure product reliability. You will also collaborate with software developers, product managers, and designers to understand product requirements and user stories.

Additionally, you will participate in test planning and contribute to defining testing strategies for various software projects. You will document and maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or similar discipline from any recognized University.
  • 5+ years of proven experience as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, with a focus on testing web and mobile applications.
  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, processes, and best practices - including Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) using Gherkin syntax.
  • Strong knowledge in automation frameworks for API and UI testing. Hands-on experience with testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Cypress, Postman.
  • Familiarity with defect tracking systems and test management tools.
  • Experience in creating automated test pipelines in a CI/CD environment.
  • Experience working directly with databases, particularly MongoDB, to perform data testing, integrity validation, and write queries.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
