Job Overview:

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Lead the technical team to ensure network and server operations are running smoothly.
    • Coordinate with other teams for cross-functional issues.
  • Network Administration Tasks:
    • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues (switches, routers, VLANs).
    • Manage IP addresses and resolve conflicts.
    • Liaise with ISPs for troubleshooting WAN issues.
    • Provision and de-provision network links.
    • Manage network configurations, backups, and restores.
    • Analyze network performance and capacity trends.
    • Optimize network performance and set thresholds.
    • Update network topology after changes.
  • Server Administration Tasks:
    • Resolve disk space issues and troubleshoot remote servers.
    • Diagnostics and patching of Windows and Linux operating systems.
    • Troubleshoot server crashes and system errors.
    • Manage user access and permissions.
    • Monitor CPU, memory, and disk health.
    • Collect and analyze logs for incidents.
    • Manage virtual servers and scale as needed.
    • Configure high availability and disaster recovery.
  • Grafana Administration Tasks:
    • User management: create, update, and delete user accounts.
    • Dashboard management: create and manage dashboards and visualizations.
    • Alerting: set up and manage alerts.
    • System monitoring: monitor Grafana instance health and performance.
    • Backup and restore: perform regular backups and restore data when necessary.

Requirements:

This role requires a strong technical background and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in network administration, server management, and Grafana administration.
