Job Description

The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for sourcing suppliers, purchasing various vitamins, nutraceuticals, pharmaceutical ingredients, and food packaging materials, reducing procurement costs, managing vendors, as well as overseeing inventory and negotiating contracts.

Responsibilities

  • Sourcing suppliers and purchasing various vitamins, nutraceuticals, pharmaceutical ingredients, and food packaging materials
  • Reducing procurement costs and vendor management
  • Inventory management and contract negotiation

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years experience in a pharmaceutical / nutraceutical (formulation) / food manufacturing company
  • Knowledge of purchasing vitamins, APIs, ingredients, and packaging materials
  • Knowledge of Drugs & Cosmetics and FSSAI compliance
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to coordinate effectively
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills

Education

  • A Bachelor or Master degree in Pharmacy, Food Technology/Science, Chemistry, Business Administration, or a related field
