About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Test Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in network/telecom/satcom testing, automation with Python, and proficiency with test equipment & tools like Spirent, IXIA, Wireshark, etheereal, Noise emulator, iperf, pytest/robot framework.

The successful candidate will design, develop, and document comprehensive test plans for all products, coordinate and participate in system level testing activities, perform setup of test scenarios, and create testing tools and scripts as needed.

Additionally, the candidate will provide training and support as required, lead small to mid-size projects, and mentor junior staff.

The role requires strong technical skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and document comprehensive test plans for all products.
  • Coordinate and participate in system level testing activities including estimation, strategy, test planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Perform setup of test scenarios, both hardware and software components, and perform troubleshooting as needed.
  • Create testing tools and scripts as needed to support system level testing activities.
  • Provide training and support as required.
  • Lead small to mid-size projects, mentor junior staff.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Strong technical skills in network/telecom/satcom testing, automation with Python, and proficiency with test equipment & tools.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Telecom knowledge on NMS/EMS/OSS
  • Understanding of OSI Model, L3/L4 layer, IPv4/IPv6, TCP/UDP
