Job Title: Retail Operations Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Retail Operations Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day retail operations and ensuring the achievement of sales KPIs in line with our Annual Operating Plan.

Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Management: Increase sales in line with the Annual Operating Plan by maximizing profitability while reducing costs through well-managed operational controls.
  2. Operations: Maintain the stability and reputation of the store by complying with legal requirements, implementing and maintaining retail operational policies and procedures, and contributing to future development at strategic and operational levels.
  3. Financial Management: Achieve financial objectives by preparing budgets, scheduling expenditure, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
  4. Staff Management: Ensure store operations requirements are fulfilled, maintain store staff by assisting in recruitment, selection, orientation, and training, and maintain store staff results by coaching, counseling, disciplining, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
  5. Merchandise Management: Review merchandise activities, determining additional sales promotion, authorization stock clearance, and studying trends.
  6. Customer Service: Identify current and future requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers and other persons in a position to understand service requirements.
  7. Marketing: Partner in marketing strategy changes by reviewing seasonality and recency.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience heading Retail Operations of progressively responsible luxury retail companies.
  • Currently heading retail of multi-million turnover businesses.
  • Graduate (any stream)/ Postgraduate degree.
