System Reliability Engineer

As a System Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems. This includes creating an SRE backlog to implement reliability practices at scale, working with senior stakeholders to agree and drive the backlog, and managing dependencies across teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing services that improve IT and support teams, ranging from production code changes to alerting and monitoring adjustments.
  • Coding - should be proficient in scripting languages like Python, Ruby for automation tool development.
  • Setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment processes.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Deep working knowledge of monitoring and log analytics tools like Dynatrace, Splunk, Grafana, CloudWatch, X-Ray.
  • Mastery of cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Lambda, CloudFormation).
  • CI/CD Expertise - skills in using tools like Jenkins, AWS CodeBuild, AWS CodeDeploy, and AWS CodePipeline.
