Financial Analyst Role Description

The position of Financial Analyst is a critical component in driving financial results and making informed business decisions. This role is responsible for supporting the execution of treasury strategy, focusing on efficient and comprehensive cash management.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing cash flow activities, including reviewing transactions, executing payments, and investing excess funds.
  • Collaborating with business partners to maximize cash, reduce financial risks, and comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Developing and maintaining management dashboards and reports using Excel, Power BI, and other tools to provide actionable insights.
  • Preparing documentation and process flows to ensure adherence to internal controls and identify opportunities for process optimization.
  • Supporting the Global Bank Account Manager with account maintenance, online banking, and audit processes.
  • Participating in various treasury-related activities, including foreign exchange, credit, and insurance management.
  • Leading month-end close activities and ensuring timely and accurate reporting.

Requirements for this role include:

  • A minimum of 5-8 years of related work experience in treasury, financial planning, or accounting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills, with confidence and flexibility in a team environment.
