Compliance Coordinator Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Compliance Coordinator to provide vital administrative support to our Compliance Function. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective coordination, maintenance, and documentation of compliance activities across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Administrative Support & Coordination:
  • Assist the Head of Compliance in managing compliance obligations, including maintaining accurate records of data processing activities.
  • Maintain compliance trackers and logs, monitoring deadlines and ensuring timely submission of statutory returns or compliance actions.
Documentation & Records Management:
  • Maintain accurate records of consent, privacy notices, and data processing agreements.
  • Log data breaches and near misses, escalating them to the Compliance Head as necessary.
Data Protection Administration:
  • Ensure all records are properly archived and accessible.
  • Log and escalate privacy concerns to the Compliance Head as appropriate.
Reporting & Audit Preparation:
  • Collate documentation and evidence for internal and external audits or inspections.
  • Generate monthly and quarterly compliance status reports and dashboards.
Staff Training & Awareness:
  • Monitor and report on completion rates of mandatory compliance training.
  • Provide administrative support for scheduling and tracking training, webinars, and briefings.
Cross-Departmental Liaison:
  • Coordinate with departments such as IT, Registry, HR, Academic Governance, and Marketing to gather compliance inputs.
  • Work with the IT team to support the Head of Compliance in tracking cybersecurity compliance measures.
