We're seeking a highly skilled Investment Risk Analyst to maintain and enhance the investment risk framework across Alcentra globally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the investment risk framework to meet regulatory requirements and ensure alignment with Alcentra's objectives.
- Work closely with the fund control and operations teams to source, consolidate, structure, and calculate relevant risk data for internal and external clients.
- Provide regular risk reporting and analysis to stakeholders, including monthly and quarterly submissions to AIFM and fund boards.
- Assist in the generation of quarterly risk reporting for Investment Risk and Senior Manager.
- Develop and maintain procedure documents for investment risk management activities.
- Conduct analysis of corporate financial documents to support Alcentra's counterparty onboarding process and annual review.
- Participate in ad hoc projects and investigations as required.
Requirements:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to identify data anomalies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with data analysis and visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Understanding of asset management and credit analysis principles, with experience in risk management and reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, with a proactive and flexible attitude.
