This is a long-term contract position with a global technology leader in 3D design, engineering, and entertainment software.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled developer to join our team as a Senior Java Developer. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable systems and services in the cloud.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 8+ years of production-level Java development experience.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS (or other cloud providers) technologies such as SQS, DynamoDB, Kinesis/Kafka/Flink.
  • Experience working on Spring/Spring-Boot Framework.
  • Experience using Terraform to build infrastructure as code.
  • Experience building scalable systems and services in the cloud, including calling other REST services from within a REST service.
  • Skill and experience using design patterns.
  • Experience in building, running, and monitoring SaaS applications at large scale.
  • Experience with multi-repo GIT code bases, REST-based web services, testing frameworks such as Blazemeter, shell scripts, automated CI/CD pipelines.
