Job Title: Guidewire Integration Developer

We are seeking a skilled developer to design, develop and implement integration solutions for Guidewire applications using Gosu, Java and web services. This role is critical for ensuring smooth data flow, robust system functionality and compliance with data security and privacy standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and implement complex integration solutions for Guidewire applications.
  • Facilitate seamless communication between Guidewire applications and external systems.
  • Ensure smooth data flow, high data quality and optimal system functionality across integrated platforms.
  • Collaborate with technical and functional teams to define requirements and deliver comprehensive integration solutions.
  • Utilize middleware platforms and develop integration elements, including message queues, web services and batch processes.
  • Participate in thorough testing cycles, support deployments and provide ongoing maintenance for integration components.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including integration specifications and support guides.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong experience in Gosu and the Guidewire Integration Framework.
  • Proficiency in Java and object-oriented design principles.
  • In-depth knowledge of data interchange formats, including XML and JSON.
  • Expertise in SQL for database interaction and data manipulation.
  • Extensive experience with web services (SOAP/REST) and related technologies.
  • Solid understanding of core Guidewire integration concepts, including batch processing, messaging and plugin development.
  • Experience with source control tools such as Git or SVN.
  • Strong debugging, troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.

General Qualifications:

  • 3-6 years of development experience, with at least 3 years specifically in Guidewire integration.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective time management, creativity and customer-oriented approach.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Adaptability and ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Capacity to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field preferred.
