Job Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled Guidewire Integration Developer to design, develop, and implement solutions that enable seamless communication between Guidewire applications (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter) and various external systems. This role is critical for ensuring smooth data flow, robust system functionality, and compliance with data security and privacy standards for our MNC client.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement complex integration solutions for Guidewire applications using Gosu, Java, and web services (SOAP/REST).

- Facilitate seamless and efficient communication between Guidewire applications and diverse external systems, including payment gateways, document management systems, and third-party data providers.

- Focus intensely on ensuring smooth data flow, high data quality, and optimal system functionality across integrated platforms.

- Collaborate closely with both technical and functional teams to define requirements, deliver comprehensive integration solutions across Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter.

- Utilize middleware platforms and develop various integration elements, including message queues, web services, and batch processes.

- Participate actively in thorough testing cycles, support seamless deployments, and provide ongoing maintenance for integration components.

- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including integration specifications, design documents, and support guides.

- Ensure strict compliance with data security and privacy regulations in all integration designs and implementations.

Technical Qualifications :

- Strong experience in Gosu and the Guidewire Integration Framework.

- Proficiency in Java and applying object-oriented design principles.

- In-depth knowledge of data interchange formats, including XML and JSON.

- Expertise in SQL for database interaction and data manipulation.

- Extensive experience with web services (SOAP/REST) and related technologies.

- Solid understanding of core Guidewire integration concepts, including batch processing, messaging, and plugin development.

- Thorough understanding of the Guidewire Data Model and its application in integrations.

- Experience with source control tools such as Git or SVN.

- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning skills for complex integration issues.

General Qualifications :

- 3-6+ years of development experience, with at least 3 years specifically in Guidewire integration.

- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills.

- Effective time management, creativity, and a strong customer-oriented approach.

- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to ensure high-quality deliverables.

- Adaptability and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.

- Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
