Job Description

The primary function of the Fund Accountant is to maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records for client portfolios, including trades, expenses, accruals, etc. This involves preparing cash, trade, and portfolio reconciliations, analyzing discrepancies, and summarizing findings in emails.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing professional relationships with clients and internal staff, keeping management informed of any issues that may impact clients, and working to continually improve processes associated with your assigned functions.

This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Technical:
    • Above average MS Office skills
    • Basic computer skills
  • Work Experience:
    • No experience required, but some accounting experience preferred
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent English speaking and writing skills
    • Superior attention to detail
    • Quick learner

    • Excellent client service skills
  • Education:
    • M.Com/MBA Finance/Accounting/CA/CA Inter/CMA
