**Job Title:** Visual Effects Mentor

As a Visual Effects Mentor, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing expertise in visual effects for films.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced supervisor with a background in Hollywood film productions, capable of mentoring and directing artists in the field of VFX.

Key responsibilities include providing training from basic to advanced levels in Houdini software, focusing on RBD Fracture Simulation, Cloth Simulation, Water Simulation, Fire Simulation, Crowd Simulation, Grain Simulation, and Plant Instance Simulation.

You will also teach effective Lookdev techniques to achieve convincing results for clients and provide solutions for integration between Houdini, Autodesk Maya, and Blender.

In addition, you will be responsible for providing efficient teaching to in-house VFX Artists to enhance their individual skills and sharing your experience as a VFX Artist in the global cinema industry.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a VFX Supervisor for film, animation, or TV series
  • In-depth knowledge of compositing principles (Nuke preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with Houdini
  • Basis knowledge of the Blender workflow is a plus
  • Solid understanding of 3D modeling, lighting, and rendering techniques in Maya or Houdini
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills
  • Artistic skills with a high attention to detail
  • Enthusiasm and creativity
  • Proficiency in the English language
