Are you passionate about empowering students to make informed decisions about their higher education journey? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Student Counsellor to join our team.

Job Description

As a Student Counsellor, you will be responsible for providing impartial and honest advice to students considering studying abroad. You will work closely with students to understand their goals, aspirations, and preferences, and then help them shortlist suitable universities based on factors such as course offerings, rankings, specialization, and location.

You will also be expected to possess excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, to effectively engage with students and stakeholders. Additionally, you will have prior experience in counseling students, preferably in the study abroad sector, and be proficient in MS Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and good typing skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Prior experience in shortlisting universities based on course, rankings, specialization, location preference, and financial ability of the student/parent.
  • Passion for helping students and giving them impartial and honest advice on studying abroad.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills are a must - written and verbal.
  • MS Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and good typing skills.
  • Prior experience in counseling students is a must. Preferably from the Study abroad sector.
  • Maintain good record-keeping at all times in the CRM.
  • Give talks/presentations on behalf of the company in the webinars/seminars and virtual counseling to students via Zoom and Google meet.
  • Providing students with accurate and clear information as well as answering all inquiries from students.
  • Have a willingness to work flexibly and to adjust working hours to suit the needs of the company.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • 1 to 6 years of experience in counseling students.
  • Proven track record of providing high-quality services to students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and good typing skills.
