Backend Developer for Blockchain Data

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer with experience in Go or Rust to transform raw on-chain data into actionable insights. The ideal candidate will decode smart contract events and implement pricing logic from decentralized exchanges.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop event decoders for major DeFi protocols.
  • Build data extractors that convert on-chain events into structured trade data.
  • Implement logic to calculate trade prices, including handling swap routing and liquidity pool math.
  • Work closely with data and infra teams to build efficient and scalable data ingestion pipelines.
  • Optimize performance and accuracy of pricing models.
  • Write clean, well-tested backend code in Go or Rust.

Requirements:

  • 2-5+ years of backend development experience in Go or Rust.
  • Strong understanding of Ethereum smart contract ABI decoding and event logs.
  • Experience working with DeFi protocols and AMM math.
  • Familiarity with EVM-based chains and Ethereum node infrastructure.
  • Ability to work independently and own complex backend systems.
