Job Summary

We are seeking a Proposal Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and preparing proposals on various solutions, working closely with the sales and marketing teams, conducting plant walk-down surveys, coordinating with procurement teams, and developing cost-effective solutions.

About You

You should have a strong background in DCS/Power Plant Instrumentation/Proposals with 7-10 years of experience. Your skills include knowledge of hardware and software functions of DCS/SCADA systems, leadership, project management, customer interaction, and effective communication. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is also essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and prepare proposals on Ovation DCS, Ovation SIS, ECMS, DGC-AVR, and C&I Package solutions.
  • Work closely with Sales and Marketing team to understand and incorporate customer requirements in the proposal.
  • Conduct plant walk-down surveys to identify challenges for retrofits.
  • Coordinate with procurement teams and vendors for techno-commercial offers.
  • Develop expertise in specific functional areas and work knowledge of related disciplines.
  • Use online costing tool (EET) for preparation of costing and budgets.

Required Qualifications

  • B.Tech/B.E with 7-10 years of DCS/Power Plant Instrumentation/Proposals experience.
  • Knowledge of hardware and software functions of DCS/SCADA systems.
