Technical ServiceNow Architect

We are seeking an accomplished Technical ServiceNow Architect to lead the design and hands-on development of scalable solutions on the ServiceNow platform. This senior role involves deep technical leadership, end-to-end solution architecture, and development across IT service management (ITSM) and other ServiceNow features.

  • Develop and implement ServiceNow architecture ensuring alignment with business and strategic objectives.
  • Design scalable and reusable components across modules like ITSM, IT operations management (ITOM), HR service delivery (HRSD), customer service management (CSM), and custom applications.
  • Develop custom applications integrations and modules using JavaScript Glide APIs and Flow Designer.
  • Customize forms, workflows, UI policies, client scripts, and business rules.
  • Build REST/SOAP integrations with third-party platforms and internal systems.
  • Leverage ServiceNow App Engine Integration Hub and Flow Designer for automation and low-code development.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding and platform standards.
  • Lead platform upgrades, performance tuning, and security hardening.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues in collaboration with support teams.
  • Guide junior developers and ensure knowledge transfer across the team.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in ServiceNow development, strong knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, or SecOps, and hands-on experience with access control lists (ACLs), Service Portal, Custom Widgets, and Scoped Applications.

The selected candidate must be knowledgeable about Agile/Scrum delivery models, version control tools, Git, ServiceNow scripting, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Actions, Scheduled Jobs, and DevOps practices.

Experience with ServiceNow integration with enterprise applications is also desired along with knowledge of ServiceNow CMDB Discovery and Asset Management.
