A skilled professional is needed to excel in loan recovery by efficiently collecting outstanding amounts from customers who have defaulted on their loans. Key responsibilities include contacting customers to negotiate payment arrangements, providing excellent customer service while communicating the consequences of non-payment and encouraging prompt repayment, maintaining accurate records of all customer interactions and collections activities, following up proactively with customers to ensure timely payments, collaborating with other departments to resolve escalated issues, adhering to relevant laws and company policies, and meeting assigned collection targets. Requirements for the role include a high school diploma or equivalent, preferably a bachelor's degree, previous experience in collections or a similar role, strong communication and negotiation skills, ability to work independently under pressure, excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, proficiency in using collections LMS software and Microsoft Office applications, knowledge of relevant laws and best practices in collections, and ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care.
