We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer to join our team. This key role is responsible for designing, developing and maintaining high-quality software applications.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or a related field is required.
  • The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in backend development, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment.
  • Strong proficiency in one or more backend programming languages such as Java, Python, Node.js, Go, or Ruby is essential.
  • Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture is necessary.
  • Solid understanding of databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar is required.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is beneficial.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git is necessary.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment tools is a plus.
  • Understanding of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes is required.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail are essential.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment are necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable, efficient and maintainable software solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify project requirements and develop technical strategies.
  • Work closely with QA engineers to ensure high-quality code and fix defects.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to improve processes and deliver results.
