Job Overview

The Senior Technical Associate role is a key position within our organization, requiring a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to oversee the design and development of innovative products.

  1. Design and Development:

    • Prepare 2D and 3D drawings using Auto Cad and Solid Works/Siemens NX software to create accurate product designs.
    • Develop Bills of Material (BOMs) and maintain compliance with ISO standards.

  2. Product Development:

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop new products while reverse engineering existing products.
    • Prepare assembly and part drawings, along with 3D models, for new product development projects.

  3. Documentation and Quality:

    • Manage documentation as per ISO 9004:2015 and ensure compliance with quality standards to maintain organizational excellence.
    • Maintain up-to-date records and ensure seamless documentation processes.

  4. Collaboration and Communication:

    • Work closely with manufacturing and sourcing teams to resolve issues and improve processes through effective collaboration.
    • Prepare and present technical reports and presentations to stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of project progress.

  5. Training and Development:

    • Train production, assembly, and quality assurance personnel on approved manufacturing, test, and inspection procedures to enhance skills and knowledge.

  6. Problem-Solving and Customer Service:

    • Resolve process and product-related issues to support the manufacturing and sourcing team, ensuring timely resolution.
    • Address customer complaints in a professional manner, providing satisfactory solutions.

  7. Administrative Tasks:

    • Prepare internal and external written correspondence, maintaining professional communication channels.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

This role requires an individual with strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, proficiency in MS Office, and experience with Auto Cad, Solid Works/Siemens NX, and MS Office. A diploma, CIPET, or BE Mechanical Engineering degree from a recognized institution is essential for this position.
