Investment Analyst Role

We are seeking an experienced investment analyst to join our infrastructure team and contribute to our success in the infrastructure space.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough analysis of new deal opportunities across the infrastructure landscape, considering market dynamics and regulatory requirements.
  • Evaluate each opportunity to determine whether it fits into our fund's investment framework.
  • Identify and pursue attractive investment opportunities aligned with our fund's strategy, considering the unique characteristics of infrastructure transactions.
  • Develop detailed financial models tailored to the complexities of infrastructure investments, incorporating factors pertaining to debt, tax etc.
  • Prepare comprehensive memos and investment proposals for review by senior management and investment committees, articulating the unique aspects of each opportunity and proposing risk mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor portfolio performance, undertake timely reviews and assess risks, leveraging specialized tools and methodologies.
  • Stay up-to-date with market nuances, regulatory changes and industry developments affecting the infrastructure sector, adapting our investment strategies and risk management practices accordingly.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in the infrastructure space within a buy-side or sell side environment with a demonstrated understanding of sector-specific nuances.
  • Qualification – MBA from a Tier 1 institution, CA (Ranker preferred)

This is a challenging role that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
