Scheduling System Specialist

Job Description

As a seasoned Scheduling System Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the stability and smooth operation of our scheduling platform. Your primary responsibility will be to analyze the current environment, identify areas for improvement, and propose simplification strategies.

We are seeking an experienced professional who can execute a structured migration process from JAMS 7.2 to the latest version, ensuring seamless service transition and centralization of the scheduling platform.

You will lead test case development across various environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams to create comprehensive test cases. Additionally, you will ensure production readiness by guaranteeing that the environment is primed for deployment, minimizing business disruptions and ensuring stability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze the Current Environment: Evaluate the current JAMS setup, pinpointing areas that require optimization and suggesting enhancements for smoother operations.
  • Migrate to Latest Version: Execute a structured migration process, ensuring seamless service transition and centralization of the scheduling platform.
  • Lead Test Case Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create comprehensive test cases across various environments (Dev, QA, UAT, Pre-Prod).
  • Ensure Production Readiness: Guarantee that the environment is primed for production deployment, minimizing business disruptions and ensuring stability.
Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for a highly skilled individual with hands-on experience in JAMS, including version upgrades, migration planning, and stabilization. You should possess proven ability to simplify intricate implementations across multiple product teams, deep experience coordinating test case execution, and strong understanding of centralized scheduling systems.

  • JAMS Expertise: Possess hands-on experience with JAMS, including version upgrades (7.2 to latest), migration planning, and stabilization.
  • Simplifying Complex Implementations: Proven ability to simplify intricate JAMS implementations across multiple product teams.
  • Test Case Execution: Deep experience coordinating test case execution across environments (Dev, QA, UAT, Pre-Prod) with validated results.
