Job Title: Corporate Actions Specialist

About the Position:

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Corporate Actions Specialist. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring data accuracy and completeness, identifying process efficiencies, and providing training to new colleagues.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support data quality by ensuring accuracy and completeness of available information
  • Gather understanding of core processes to identify potential improvements
  • Develop documentation, training plans, and other relevant business materials
  • Deliver training to new employees
  • Act as a quality control analyst when required
  • Contribute to team progress through regular huddles, idea sharing, and skill development
  • Plan and manage own work, keeping managers informed of progress and activities
  • Ensure timely delivery of daily, weekly, and monthly reports
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for subject matter questions

Necessary Skills and Qualifications:

  • Fundamental understanding of corporate actions, capital markets, and investment instruments such as equities and fixed income products
  • Excellent communication, organization, interpersonal, planning, and analytical skills
  • A keen eye for detail
  • Strong analytical abilities with a logical mindset
  • Prior experience interacting with internal and external functions, including clients and stakeholders
  • Able to work under tight deadlines, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple responsibilities effectively
