Job Purpose

The Resiliency Controls Testing Lead is responsible for supporting the development of testing methodologies for critical key controls across global businesses.

This role focuses on assurance activities over resiliency materials and critical control testing, with potential to move into other operational risk domains.

The Lead will be responsible for developing and executing control testing plans, communicating, agreeing upon, and monitoring gaps in controls in line with risk management processes.

This will be done in collaboration with other assurance functions across multiple lines of defense.

The Lead will also support the Control Testing Manager in developing testing methodologies, risk universes, and integrated reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Control Testing Manager in identifying and prioritizing testing activities as part of assurance planning processes.
  • Plan and execute control tests, including coordinating review processes with key stakeholders, managing control testing analysts, reviewing quality of work performed, and ensuring alignment with assurance testing methodologies.
  • Prepare draft reports reflecting results of work performed and advise business on appropriate solutions and remediation activities.
  • Present results to senior management to gain buy-in and agreement to action.
  • Coordinate activities throughout review lifecycles with senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Data Analytics teams to identify opportunities for converting manual testing into analytics-based testing and continuous assurance activities.
  • Support First Line of Defense with issue remediation and validation of evidence before issue closure.
