Senior Analytics Director

Job Description

We seek an experienced Senior Analytics Director to work on advanced analytics solutions in the insurance and healthcare industries.

  • Lead multiple project teams, consisting of consultants, analysts, data scientists, BI experts, and data engineers.
  • Closely engage with client stakeholders and onsite teams to identify high-impact business problems.
  • Translate business problems into clear analytics problem statements and design plans for advanced analytics and data solutions.
  • Own and drive execution of the plan, demonstrating techno-functional consulting and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Measure and articulate how analytics results improve clients' business and financial metrics.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in delivering advanced analytics, engineering, and BI solutions through analytics consulting.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in working with and leading multidisciplinary teams.
  • In-depth understanding of healthcare industries and related functional areas.
  • Ability to translate high-level business problems to analytics and data problem statements.
  • Experience in scoping, development, validation, and deployment of explanatory, predictive, and prescriptive analytic solutions.
  • Knowledge of DS/ML/AI techniques and interpretation of results from a business viewpoint.
  • Ability to discover patterns in data and deliver impactful insights.
  • Experience in stakeholder management, driving project governance, and linking analytics to business value delivered.
  • Hands-on experience in data handling using SQL and advanced analytics tools like R and Python.
  • Excellent written, oral, presentation, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
