Job Title

As a Cloud Data Specialist you will design, develop and implement modern cloud based data warehousing solutions and influence overall data strategy.

  • Achieve scalable technical solutions meeting data warehousing standards by translating complex business requirements into actionable insights.
  • Strong understanding of analytics needs with proactive-ness to improve efficiency and implement leading data practices & standards.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions that have larger impact on the organization.
  • Communicate effectively, both written and verbal, with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage partner communication and project risks in a rapidly changing environment.

Key Qualifications

  1. 4+ years of experience developing and building data pipelines on Cloud & Hybrid infrastructure for analytical needs.
  2. Experience working with cloud based data warehouse solutions along with expertise in SQL and Advance SQL.
  3. High expertise in modern cloud warehouse and implementation experience on cloud platforms like AWS/GCP/Azure.
  4. Experience working with data at scale with big data tech stack and advanced programming languages like Python, Scala.
  5. Designing and building dimensional data models to improve accessibility, efficiency and quality of data.
  6. Database development experience with Relational or MPP/distributed systems like Snowflake, SingleStore.
  7. Excellent problem solving, critical thinking with ability to evaluate and apply new technologies.
  8. Strong written and oral communication skills.
  9. Experience working with global collaborators with ability to influence decision making.

Education & Experience

  1. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in data engineering, computer science or similar field.
